The review does say the game through out the story gets back to darkness etc.
From the sounds of it the game changes pretty fast to greatness compared to the open stages we played like a movie perhaps?
We'll probably see Alan Wake out in the day light in bland worlds when the devs first show the game but once gamers have the full version that will change. Same thing
It only takes a few times(Sarcasm)to express that, not every room with the same people complaining about the same things as if trying to shape opinion or telling gamers how to feel about this game.
I'm sure folks would say the same thing to me if I *hunted* down every Forza or GT5 submission I could find to express my disappointment.
Going to get this, the co-op will be a blast with a friend. They may also patch other features and settings later.
I miss Japanese drama I'm going to shell out the cash now. I think this game will get a lot of 9's to say the least.
I would make an ad like that with my endorsement(face) on it using users such as yourself as examples any day.

After reading the review I'm going to add performance differences to my list of reasons why you feel this way assuming they reviewed the 360 version too.
1) Sony fans were hostility towards the 360 because it launched first.
2) Sony hyped PS3 while PS3 fans waited with belligerent malice.
3) PS3 launches and for a while had no games, arrogant 360 fanboys talked smack acting like fools while media reports on the multi platform shortcomings of PS3 angering PS3 fans.
4) Sony boasted game after game and claimed they would change gaming but failed, while 360 fans taunt like kids.

I wouldn't say "RUN AND GUN" more like any tactical type of gamplay and not just blasting hoping you don't run out of bullets, the game might as well be for the Wii with its pointer style targeting.

The rumor of a PS3 version came from the announcement of ME2 being multi platform and the media and PS3 fans ran with it. The devs only meant it was for sure coming to both of MSFT's platforms.
